O2O Keeping Florida Wildlife Connected: The Ocala to Osceola Corridor
In the spring of 2017 I was accepted as a college scholar to the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) Summit held in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to the conference the 11 other scholars and I worked on producing this audio-visual story for North Florida Land Trust, a local organization that is working to conserve large tracts of land between Ocala and Osceola National Forests. The goal is to create a corridor through which wildlife such as the florida Black Bear, Red-cockaded Woodpecker, and other amazing creatures can navigate. We spent three days filming and photographing in Ocala, Osceola, and Camp Blanding Joint Training Center.
